Glenmount Global Solutions announced today the transformation of its water market strategy. GGS has been a leader for more than twenty five years in the design, development and deployment of SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems for improving operations at water facilities and networks throughout the United States. GGS has delivered solutions to customers through its FluidIQs and Tegron brands, and now brings the combined benefits of the entire GGS enterprise to customers in the water industry. The re-defined focus represents another step in the transformation of the company’s long-standing commitment and to solving the automation and information needs of government, private, and industrial customers in the water market.
Scott Manske, vice president of GGS, will have primary responsibility for the transformation of the GGS water business. In addition to spearheading the focus on select customers in the water market, Mr. Manske will implement a number of other changes in the FluidIQs operating unit essential for aligning with the redefined strategy. In particular, a number of associates will be reassigned to new roles in GGS project management, business development, industry consulting, and technical delivery teams. Selected positions that do not align with the key customer strategy have been eliminated.
The water unit of GGS will begin leveraging the GGS Partner Ecosystem Program as part of this transformation. “Our Partner Program has been effective in the power, food, and oil & gas markets served by GGS; and we will apply that success to the water market,” stated Troy Miller, vice president of business development at GGS. “We will foster close collaborative partnerships with select EPC’s, OEM’s and technology providers to implement and continue the development of proven, highly-configurable industrial information and automation solutions for industry specific applications.”
